A wide range of opportunities are provided to enjoy Nature in this area. You can visit the old hamlets of Massa Lubrense town or you can choose to walk along the path which links Colli di Fontanelle neighbourhood to Pineta delle Tore, a spectacular walk through a pine-wood and across Mediterranean vegetation, overlooking the Bay of Naples and the Salerno Gulf simultaneously. If you love walking, try the Sant’Agata-Massa-Sorrento pathway, a 7- km long way through lemon trees and olive groves. If then as a hiker you are used to sharp gradients, the Sant’Agata- Crapolla-Sant’Agata path is for you.
From there you will enjoy enchanting views as the “Crapolla fjiord” reminiscent of Norvegian ones and many other astonishing panoramas that you can find. The Sorrento Coast is in fact not only a seaside resort as it is surrounded by Monti Lattari which also provides a mountaneous environment such as the Sentiero degli Dei pathway. Walking along any of the footways provided, you may choose to stop for a break in one of the farmhouses ( whose number has increased in the last few years) offering meals to tourists or you can also purchase products of local agriculture. You will be enchanted by the peace and tranquillity surrounding these areas and attracted by the typical dishes of the local rural cuisine.
